Last night, I had the pleasure to join NY Linux Users Group for their hackers hours. This is the place you should go if you are having problems with any FREE software and you need some face to face hand holding. The hours are organized by one of CUNY’s own, Hannah Aizenmann (CUNY-GC, Computer Science). She was kind enough to help me with IRC Chat clients (tutorial coming soon). NYLUG hasn’t announced when their next hacker’s hours are going to be but look for an announcement from the GC Digital Fellows for office hours.
